A direct-booking website for Golden Web Retreat
Golden Web Retreat is an organic farm retreat in Portugal’s Eastern Algarve. Pixel8 designed and built its website and a custom booking system, so guests can choose a place to stay and pay online in a few minutes.
THE CLIENT
A farm retreat near Fuseta
Golden Web is a wellness retreat on an organic farm in Moncarapacho, a short ride from Fuseta beach and the Ria Formosa. Guests stay in cottages and bell tents, and the retreat runs daily yoga, Pilates and meditation classes.
THE BRIEF
Take bookings directly
The website had one main job: let guests see the accommodation, check the price for their dates and book directly with the retreat. That meant handling nine places to stay, prices that change by season and secure card payment, all on the retreat’s own site.

A purpose-built WordPress accommodation booking plugin, written for the retreat rather than adapted from an off-the-shelf tool.
Seasonal rates for nine units
Each of the nine places to stay has its own pricing, with rates that change through the year.
Card payments with Stripe
Guests book and pay online by card. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Designed in Elementor
Built on WordPress and Elementor, so the retreat team can update text, photos and class times without a developer.
The site also covers the rest of what guests ask about: accommodation pages, local activities, the weekly class schedule, guest reviews and a contact form.
